I started Staging homes; my own, my friends and families in 2007. I quit my job last June to be home with my children, and found myself a little bored. A good friend suggested that I get into this line of work to fill the void with my creativity. It has a name, it's called "Staging". The credit goes to Barb Shwarz who coined the phrase. She has a thriving business of books, information and ASP (Accredited Staging Professional) programs. What is Staging?

Staging is NOT decorating. Staging is the prep work for a home before it goes on the market. It's placement of furnishes and accessories, color schemes much, much more. It's depoersonalizing a home, removoing personal pictures and collectables, etc. It's getting your home ready to appeal to the masses! And I love doing it.
